A year before introducing the M'z Tune in 2007, another Mazdaspeed concept surfaced at the 2006 Tokyo Auto Salon (a show dedicated to modified cars, performance and dress up parts) along with matching RX-8 and Atenza models.
Painted in a dark shade of blue, this concept featured some unique bodykit parts and 18" Yokohama AVS Model 5 alloy wheels. These appears to be the same wheels that would feature on the following year's M'z Tune car. Mazdaspeed branded bucket seats, Bilstein suspension and Endless brakes were also fitted.
As far as I'm aware none of the bodykit pieces made it to final production on the Roadster which is a shame as I think the front works quite well. The vented bonnet and front wings would go on to appear on the M'z concept. A version of the RX-8's kit did make it to production.
