Koji's car is an RS grade NC Coupe model in Copper Red from the Ibaraki region of Japan. It has been modified with a grey/gold/red theme and was recently given some white racing stripe vinyl.
This Roadster is fitted with several bodykit parts including the optional Mazdaspeed rear bumper and sideskirts. This rear bumper has a diffuser style design that carries forward on the sideskirt with a grey lip on the underside. These aero parts were tested in a wind tunnel by Mazda to improve airflow around the car. The rear also has a Nopro ducktail spoiler and the radio antenna from a Honda S2000.
The front end features the optional lip spoiler with the centre detail piece painted to match the Mazdaspeed parts. The Garage Vary headlamp trims, stainless grille, and relocated number plate finish off the front end. Koji is a big fan of BBS wheels and the car has had numerous different sets fitted. Currently it has a set of 17" BBS RG-R with gold centres and polished lips fitted with Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tyres.
Performance modifications include a HKS induction kit with Nopro enclosure, HKS Super Fire sparkplugs, Beatrush brace, Odula RS muffler, RX-8 anti-roll bars, and Largus adjustable coilovers. On the inside we find a Recaro driver's seat, AWD gauge faces with stainless surrounds, carbon trim pieces, Zoom Engineering leather gaiters, Momo steering wheel, Mazda optional shift light, RX-8 wiper stalk, and colour-coded dashboard trim.
