Mazda MX-5 Palace Costes

French Chic
The MX-5 Palace Costes is a French special edition that was produced in conjunction with the trendy Hotel Costes in Paris, and the women's upmarket fashion & lifestyle magazine "Palace Costes" which is part of the luxury Costes Group. This model was launched in March 2007 and was limited to 100.

The Palace Costes was available as a 1.8 or 2.0 model and included €1200 of accessories at no extra cost over the standard car. The exterior of the car is unchanged though it did get an exclusive "Paris Costes" decal on the front wing. As a further incentive and another example of the car's glamourous marketing, the first 30 customers received a gift box of MAC cosmetics.

The accessory pack included an aluminium handbrake handle, illuminated gear knob, an iPod Nano with adaptor to connect to the car, and a CD copy of Hotel Costes Vol.9 mixed by Stéphane Pompougnac - the hotel's resident DJ.
