Tatsuya's car is an NC2 5-speed NR-A model finished in the fairly rare colour of Sunflower Yellow. This colour was only available in selected markets and only for a limited time. You may recognise this car from the Nopro website as it is one of the owner's cars and used as a demonstration model taking part in various track events.
Being a Nogami car it is fitted with several Nogami Project parts. The most obvious of these is the front bumper which is styled after the NC1 Mazdaspeed bumper and adds just that little bit extra presence without being over the top. A contrasting FRP vented bonnet by Murakami Motors is fitted along with a Nopro number plate relocation bracket. The rear of the car has some smoked tail lights and the latest three-piece Nopro wide ducktail spoiler. The wheels on this car are Volk Racing RE30 forged one piece alloys by RAYS in 17x8.5J et50 fitment and finished in the bronze colour.
Since the car is used on track the handling has had some upgrades with a Cusco 2way LSD and Ohlins DFV adjustable coilovers with a spring rates of 9kg/m on the front and 6kg/m on the rear. The Mazdaspeed rollcage has been added, this was an option on the NR-A models. Performance modifications include the HKS induction kit with Nopro's own enclosure, Nopro high flow intake elbow, and Cosworth camshafts. There is also a custom exhaust system by Power Craft, a front mounted oil cooler, and a low temp thermostat to help with engine cooling.
