MX-5 Roadster ND Warning Lights

The fourth generation MX-5 brings a lot of new technology that we haven't seen before on a Roadster. With this in mind I've created a guide to the car's numerous warning and indicator lights. Higher spec models equipped with MZD Connect are able to view additional information about any fault codes that occur by using a maintenance application that is built into the infotainment system.

The red warning lights are more serious than the orange fault indicator lights. Red lights generally require you to stop driving immediately to avoid damaging engine systems, or having an accident if the braking system is faulty.

As well as the main instrument cluster, some of these warning lights are displayed in a secondary panel below the heater controls.
