This year's Mazda Fan Festa takes place on Sunday 6th December at Okayama International Circuit in Japan. The Fan Festa is an annual celebration of all things Mazda with events and festival activities the whole family can enjoy.
This year's main attraction is the full-scale model of the LM55 Vision Gran Turismo concept car from GT6. This model was previously on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier in the year. It was perched high atop the Goodwood centrepiece sculpture, but it looks like at Fan Festa the car will be a little easier to view. It isn't a functional car but it's still a chance to appreciate the sleek design.
There will be demonstration laps of Okayama Circuit from the rotary powered 787B, Savanna RX-3s, RX-7s, Familia Coupes, various other race cars including the Global MX-5 Cup and Party Race cars, and the Roadsters and Demios that compete in the Super Taikyu endurance series. There will also be parade laps from various owner's clubs such as the Cosmo Sport club.
Mazda fans will be able to take part in parade laps of the track, time attack events, 2 hour endurance race, passenger laps on a short course section of track. A parade run of all Mazda cars is limited to the first 200 applicants and aims to fill the track with Mazda vehicles of all types, and will provide a photo opportunity with the race cars.
