The MX-5 Indiana was a special edition model released towards the end of 2003. This car was based on the regular 1.8i model and came finished in the unique colour of Garnet Red Mica. There were 250 of these Indiana models available in the UK.
The Indiana specification included 15" alloy wheels and front foglights as standard. The interior was a nice place to be with heated beige leather seats, matching beige door panels and lower dash, and tan carpets with luxury mats. Adding to the sophisticated premium feel were the the Nardi wood gear knob, handbrake handle, and steering wheel, and a set of stainless sill plates with MX-5 logo.
