The B2 Limited model was released to the Japanese market alongside the more sporty R2 Limited in 1996. This edition was limited to 1000 cars, each with a 1.8 litre engine producing 130PS. The B2 name stood for 'Blue & Bright' and reflected the unique Twilight Blue mica paintwork and chrome accents.
B2 was based on a standard M Package car and was available as either a 5-speed manual with 4.3 final drive, or a 4-speed automatic with 4.1. Neither version came fitted with a limited slip differential.
Features of this model include chrome door mirrors, polished 14" 6J alloy wheels, dark blue soft top, moquette fabric interior trim, MOMO steering wheel, and CD player.
