The Eunos Roadster R2 Limited was a late 1996 edition for the Japanese market. This car went on sale along with the lower spec B2 Limited, and was the last of the sporty Eunos Roadsters.
This 'Racey & Red' model was limited to just 500 cars and all came finished in Chaste White with a red interior. The white/red colour scheme would go on to be used in the second generation NR-A as well as the third generation's 20th Anniversary model.
The R2 Limited was powered by a 130PS 1.8 litre engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car came equipped with Bilstein suspension, a Torsen limited slip differential with a 4.3 ratio, and unique 15" alloy wheels with Bridgestone RE010 tyres.
The interior benefits from red trim with red leather seats featuring the Roadster logo embroidered onto each headrest. There is a MOMO airbag steering wheel with upgraded gear knob & handbrake handle, stainless sill plates, and a gearshift trim piece fitted as standard.
