Mazda MX-5 Impuls

Mazda MX-5 Impuls
The MX-5 Impuls was a 2005 special edition for the German market in 2005. It was one of the last NB special editions released before the debut of the third generation MX-5 and was limited to 1500 cars.

The car was available with a 1.6 or 1.8 engine, both using the 5-speed manual transmission. There were three colours to choose from; Brilliant Black, Racing Green, or the new Razor Blue which was also used on the UK's Arctic edition. The Impuls also used the same 15" multi-spoke alloy wheel design as the Arctic and has the chrome trim around the quarter light frame.

Inside there weere unique tan leather heated seats with brown contrast piping and matching door trim. A tan coloured tonneau covered the black mohair roof and there was also a chrome finish style bar with mesh windblocker and soundboard. A polished luggage rack was available as an option.

A dark wooden steering wheel with matching gear knob and handbrake handle work nicely with the tan colour to create a sophisticated retro themed interior that also benefits from air conditioning.
